Instructions: (20Pts)

Choose one author whom you think has the best classification of myths. Write an essay on
why that certain author is your preference.

As I’ve browsed the information about the mythology by some authors who give
their classification of what myths is, I just can’t help myself to intrigued by this author
because of her contribution to mythology which are very useful up until now. I think
compare to the others author she gives the most precise information on classifying
myths which are come from Greek and Romans myths, I just love how she introduced
first the topic on how and why these myths submerged with man’s mindset on how the
universe began particularly in Greece.

Even though mostly the contents of her book I think is not originally her work but
the way she gives the right information about myths was already captivating for me,
actually after reading her introduction to what Myths specifically the Greek Mythology is
enough for me to say that her book is fun to read and definitely, I will be able to learn
more about these myths. I actually searched her on the internet and I’ve found out that
she already published many books that deals about mythology too, and that is how I
picked her as my preference for classifying myths just like that. I’ve already read the first
twenty pages of her book about mythology and I think I will not regret it if I’ll continue to
read it until the last page because what I’ve said her book is fun to read and her writing
style actually suit my taste when reading, I feel like just reading a fantasy book about
gods and goddesses that I actually enjoying and also, I love reading this kind of genre.

I choose Edith Hamilton as my preference for classifying Myths because she

gives the information I want and most especially it’s easy for me to understand of what
she is talking about and she have a clear message that I think her readers will definitely
understand and enjoy.
