Findings:
Canals traced:
Posterior superior alveolar canal in the right and left posterior maxilla in the lateral walls
of maxillary sinuses parallel to the floor. Nasopalatine canal in the anterior region towards
the palatal aspect of 11, 21 region.
➢ 16,23,24,26 missing
➢ Present teeth are periodontally involved and show bone loss..
➢ Root canal treated irt.15,14,11
➢ Root stump irt 18, 17.
➢ Deeply placed vertically impacted 28
➢ Fixed prosthetics irt 15 to 11.

➢ Right maxillary sinus is thickening of mucosal lining and left maxillary sinus is clear and shows no
pathology.
➢ All the sections and measurements are made 1mm apart from each other.
RADIOLOGIC IMPRESSION:
➢ Partially edentulous maxilla.
➢ Root canal treated irt.15,14,11
➢ Root stump irt 18, 17.
➢ Deeply placed vertically impacted 28

➢ Chronic generalized periodontitis.
➢ Sufficient bone dimension and good quality of bone for implant placement.
