Detailed Trip Program for Sri Lanka Buddhist Delegation headed by Most.

Ve. Prof. Rahula

29/2/2020 to 11/3/2020

1. Day 1 (29-2-2020) Arrive Yangon at 10.30 am by TG flight and city tour

in Yangon after lunch. (Night halt at Yangon)

2. Day 2 (1-3-2020) After breakfast visit Bago and proceed to Sitagu

Ketumati Buddhist Academy Taung goo and conduct lecture. (Night halt

at Ketumati)

3. Day 3 (2-3-2020) After lunch, continue to Bagan (Night halt at Bagan)

4. Day 4 (3-3-2020) Visit around Bagan

(Note: Most. Ven. Rahula, his assistant and Ashin Visuta will remain
to stay one more night at Bagan and the rest will continue to Sagaing
after Bagan’ visit)

5. Day 5 (4-3-2020) Rahula Thero will fly to Sagaing to rejoin with group

and visit around Sagain Hill and conduct lecture in Sitagu International

Buddhist Academy (About 7 P.M) (Night halt at Sagaing)

6. Day 6 (5-3-2020) Visit around Mandalay and conduct lecture in Sitagu

Buddhist Academy. (Night halt at Sagaing)

7. Day 7 (6-3-2020) Go to Naypyitaw by early morning with Most. Ven.

Sitagu Sayadawgyi. (Night halt at Naypyitaw)

8. Day 8 (7-3-2020) Visit around Naypyitaw. (Night halt at Naypyitaw)

 9. Day 9 (8-3-2020) Attend conferring ceremony and return to Sagaing in

the evening to participate Sitagu Sayadawgyi’s birthday. (Night halt at

Sagaing)

10.Day 10 (9-3-2020) Witness offering ceremony to 1000 Nuns. (Night halt

at Sagaing)

11.Day 12 (10-3-2020) Participate offering ceremony to 1000 Monks and

return to Yangon by evening flight. (Night halt at Yangon)

12.Day 13 (11-3-2020) Return home by morning flight.

Note: (There will be two 2 hrs lecture sessions to be conducted by Prof.

Rahula on the theme of Buddhism in Sri Lanka for 1 hour and by Prof.
Wijithadhamma on the theme of Pali studies in Sri Lanka for another 1 hour)
