Written Article Analysis

Based on this article, this issue is about the condition a child when his or her parents was

divorce. In the articles, single parents “family cause juvenile crime”, author Robert L.

Maginnis states, “Children from single parents’ family are more likely to have behaviour

problems because them tend to lack economic security and adequate times with parents.

This articles also talk about the percentages on how little faith is put into relationship before

actually deciding to have children. According to this issue since 1995, the American family

structure for children ages fourteen to eighteen consists of forty-two percent living in a

second marriage step-family, twenty-one percent living in a single parent, divorce or

separated family, six percent living in a single parent never marriage family and three

percent living in a single parent widowed family. This is an extremely scary statistic

considering that fifty-eight percent of children in America are living in a single parent family.

The author’s point of view in a text is children of single parent can be just as progressive with

emotional, social and behavior skills as those with two parents. Other than that, single

parents also be able to still have time to offer and exuberant among of emotional time for the

wellbeing of their child.

The types of supporting detail in a text based from the issue is expert opinion. In the articles,

single parents “family cause juvenile crime”, author Robert L. Maginnis states, “Children from

single parents’ family are more likely to have behaviour problems because their tend to lack

economic security and adequate times with parents. Sometime, children who come from

divorced parent easy influence with bad surroundings because they do not have enough

attention from their parent and this is how they want to attract attention from his or her parent

with doing something nonsense. Next, type of supporting detail is historical data. According

to this issue since 1995, the American family structure for children ages fourteen to eighteen

consists of forty-two percent living in a second marriage step-family, twenty-one percent

living in a single parent, divorce or separated family, six percent living in a single parent

never marriage family and three percent living in a single parent widowed family. The last
type of supporting detail based on this issue is statistic. This is an extremely scary statistic

This issue tells the reader must fully ready to be a parent before they planning a child

because this can affect to their children future.

From this article, parent who think they would never be able to provide emotional stability for

their children by themselves should have taken the time to think this through before deciding

to become parent. The meaning of this information is the parent must have enough

information about how to be a good parent to make their child have full love and attention

from their parent.

From our observation, the objective that the author wants to convey the reader is the

important of parent knowledge before become a parent. This is important to make their

children get the quality life and get the better future.

Children must have to live with both of their parent to get enough attention from them to

make they loved and needed.

From our opinion, this article is valid and credible because some parent who come from

divorce parent sometime have problem in dividing their time with his or her children. They

also do not care about their children when they are divorced. Some parents usually are

fighting for the right of children. Children from divorced families may experience more

externalizing problems, such as conduct disorders, delinquency and impulsive behaviour

than kids from two parent families. In addition to increased behaviour problems, children

may also experience more conflict with peers after a divorce. Other than that, when parents

divorce the effects of divorce on children can vary. Some children react to divorce in a

natural in understanding ways, while others children may struggle which the transition.

Furthermore, children are resilient and with assistant the divorce transition can be

experienced as an adjustment rather than a crisis. Since the children in a new divorce vary
different temperaments, different age. The effect of divorce on children vary it depend on

the condition of the family before his or her parent have separate.

In conclusion, with this is mind, here are some of the most commonly seen effects divorce

has on children family means can help parents manage. Divorce is difficult for all members

of the family. For children, trying to understand the changing dynamics of the family may

leave them distracted and confused. This interruption in their daily focus can mean one of

the effects of divorce on children would be seen in their academic performance. The more

distracted children are, the more likely they are to not be able to focus on their school work.

Children whose family is going through divorce may have a harder time relating to other, and

tend to have less social contact. Sometimes children feel insecure and wonder if their family

is the only family that has gotten divorced.

The main idea for this article is single parent should be more alert with the condition of their

children. People claim that the only way for children to gain full emotional and behaviour

skill is to be raise by both a mother and father.

Children who are raise with both a mother and a father have more attention from both

parents therefore they get the emotional time they need to progress in life.

It would not be beneficial at all to grow up in a two-parent family who did nothing but argue

and put each other down. Naturally a child who sees this from a very young age until they

are ready to be up on their own would only follow in footstep of all they have ever known.

The purpose author written the article is tell people how to manage condition of their children

after they have been divorced. It also tells people should prevent divorce cases from

happening to ensure their children’s future has protected. This ultimately brought about

more positive view of the separation.
