INTRODUCTION
15- year experience in building, implementing, developing, auditing and maintaining
integrated QEHS system according to: ISO 9001:2008,2015, OHSAS 18001,
ISO14001:2004, 2015, and ISO 29001, API-Q2 and API-Q1 for oil and gas companies
including logistics, shipping and transportations fleets.
Ihave implemented the QEHS manual for Lufkin industries, GE oil and gas, Alcoa and
Technopack in Egypt.

2. Special experience in lifting inspection, lifting plan implementation, Hoisting and
rigging and crane safety and managing loading and unloading safety of heavy products
in oil fields.
4. Managing the safety in logistics, warehouse loading and unloading, crane and forklift
safety, transportation fleets, cranes, forklifts and mobile equipment routine and periodic
inspections.
5. certified in providing defensive driving training for all drivers in addition to qualifying
and induction for new drivers. Certified also in building transportation safety management
system.
7. Hazardous material management in transportation and warhousing.
I have established QEHS manual and (HEMP) in chemical factories, construction projects
and oilfield in Egypt and Oman PDO ( GE prolect of PCP and BEAM pumping unit):

 Logistics and shipping which include loading and unloading and transportation fleet.

 PCP (progressive cavity pump), Beam Pumping Unit , ESP and Gas lift.

 Drilling and rig safety and defensive driving taining for all driviers.

 Radiation protection expert and I have a license to use and handle radioisotopes and
artificial ionizing radiation sources in inspection, quality control, welding inspection and
in scientific research.
EXPERIENCE
2007- NOW QEHS manager
Lufkin Middle East ( GE Oil & Gas)
1. Implementation of integrated QEHS management system from scratch for transportation,
shipping and logistics and artifical lift oilfields service sites ( multisite operations). I
have implemented according to ISO 9001:2007: 2015 and ISO 29001(API)
14001:2004,OHSAS 18001:2008. This system had been recently certified by DNV.

2. I have put the key performance indicators (KPIs) for system measurements and control
according to customer requirments, local legal and international regulatory requirements
that included all Egyptian legislations including Egyptian safety law 12/2003 and
environmental law 4/1994 in addition to fire, water, electricity and construction Egyptian
codes. I have achieved 100% legal compliance and customer satisfaction.

3. I have lead the process of hazard identification and hazard analysis for logistic and
shipping processes within the company which include vehicles, cranes, forklift, in all
locations in which GE is working.

4. Selecting, training and qualifying the drivers of the transportation fleets, craner drivers
and forklift drivers for loading and unloading, transportation, installation, operation and
maiantenance.

5. I have imoplemented the process picture mapping related to of artificial lift products in
addition to drilling, working around rigs.

6. I have the responsibility and certification for providing defensive driving for all drivers
in addition to crane safety and heavy lifting safety for crnae and forklift
operators.implemented Lufkin and GE risk register in all field and shipping yard
operations.

7. Full responsibility in setting the standards and specifications for the vehicles, cranes and
forklifts used for the shipping and lifting within the company.

8. Managemet of the safety of transportation and shipping processes throufggh the journey
plan and on line through the fleet managememnt GPS.

9. I have implemented the system of hoisting and rigging, Heavy lifting system which
include routine and non routine lifting, implemented lifting plan and crane manual
which include lifting design for for all componesnts of the company.
10. I have established Lufkin emergency prepardness plan and crisis management plan. I
have performed the planned drills that include, fire drill, medical drill, crane accident,
driving accidents in addition to sabotage and force majeure events.

11. I have lead the process and the team of incident investigation and incident reporting and
I have set special section of road and traffic accidents and set crisisplan to deal with road

 accidents. I have also recommended the corrective and preventive actions plan and
made the traceability manually and on line through Gensuite tool.

12. I have the responsibility to implement the monthly report to the corporate which
included the leading and lagging indicators in addition to the regulatory and non
regulatory training and the metrix of the performance of Lufkin , GE Egypt.
13. I have established the internal audit system of the company according to ISO 19011
and I have the responsibility to train and qualify the team of internal auditors and
leading the process and the team team of internal auditors in planned and unplanned
audits.

14. I have the leading role in preparation and submitting the nonconformity report and
corrective and preventive action plan and lead the management team in the management
review meeting to follow up the corrective action and preventive action to eliminate the
root cause of NCR to achieve the continoual improvement within the company.

2004–2007 ALCOA CSI EGYPT ( START UP PHASE)

Alcoa is a multinational company working also in the field OF metallic and
plastic industries for food and beverage. I participated in the project
construction, project commissioning and project startup.
EHS/ industrial hygiene MANAGE R ( project construction start-up)
First. Construction safety Management
 Starting the project from scratch and I was a member of the project steering committee,
leading the construction projects and reporting directly to the project director. I have
participated in the project risk aseessment from business and operational point of view.

 I participated in the selection of construction contractor and subcontractors based on their

EHS and quality of deliverables point of view and I participated in the the contractor worksite
audit, contractor management recview and contractor qualification.

 I have implemented the site preliminary hazard identification, risk assessment and
environmental impact analysis and communicated the report with construction manager and
project manager. I have also set the project risk register.
 I have reviewed the contractor’s business plan and safety plan and held safety committee
meeting with project manager and construction site manager to put and implement the action
plan. I have been responsible for issuing the work permits for all high risk operations that
included demolition, excavation, working at heights, hot works, work in confined space, high
voltage, Lockout/ Tagout and heavy lifting.

 I have participated in the design of the fire system and the installation and distribution of
electric connection and also during civil defense audits. Performed environmental aspects
and impact analysis and project EIA and represented the company during the environmental
audits by environmental regulatory organization.

 I have lead the process of hazard identification and health risk assessment against chemical
and biological agents and makde a research about the toxicity and epidemiology of such
agents respectively. I have performed air monitoring for the measurements of the
concentration of air-borne particles of chemicals and vapurs in the air.
 I have participated in the implementation and design of control measure to eliminate and

mitiagate such hazards. I have established the regular health surveillance for field operators
who are directly exposed to such hazards and I have also initiated the pre-placement general
medical check to determine the employee fitness to the job.
Second. Start up and production phase
 Participation in process safety design and the application of Hazop system as the team leader.

 Participation in all operating parameters safety analysis for the production machines and

setting the safety KPIs for monitoring the processes safety performance throughout all
production stages till the final products.

 Implementation of the quality department and quality system after benchmarking with several
Alcoa companies all over the world and recruiting and staffing all qulity and production staffs.
 Making the training program for the newly appointed process engineers, technicians and
managers.
 I have implemented chemical management system within the company and identified the
inventory for all chemical associated with the required MSDS.
 I have set the industrial hygiene program by applying the following processes:
1. also monitored the vehicle exhaust emission into the working environments and
recorded the results of each monitoring.
2. I have registered all hazardous substances and physical agents that may be found in the
workplace during construction, commissioning and production as follows:
3. Dust, silica, mist and vapours, asbestos, PCBs, Lead, noise, ionizing and non–ionizing
radiation,.
4. Biological agents and chemical exposure.

 I have identified and calculated the exposure limits LEL, UEL for all chemical agents
wespecially the vapurs and noise and applied the correctiove action according to the hierarchy
of control and the application of ALARP methodology.

 I have implemented the SOPs, document and forms for all the following safety programs. I
have implemented and provided technical EHS training in English, and Arabic, French –
when necessary- for all employees, contractors and subcontractors in the following specific
subjects:

Technopack is a pioneer company for the production of Biaxially oriented
polypropylene film (BOPP),metallised OPP,Cast polypropylene,cast polyethylene ..
QUALITY /ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGER.
 Implementation of the integrated quality and environmental system according to ISO
9001:2000, ISO 14001: 1996 and shifting to ISO 14001:2004
 Performing hazard identification and risk assessment for all production line and put action
plan to deal with petrochemical extrusion hazards.
 Performing environmental aspects for all company’s activities and implementation of action
palan to deal with all environmental impacts according to Local environmental laws 4/904.
 Supervision on water analysis and water treatment of demineralization unit, cooling towers
and chillers in addition to the control of these units discharge and release.
 Establishment of waste management system to deal with liquid waste and solid waste
which included chemicals and petrochemical materials and disposition according to the
previously mentioned environmental law.
 Reducing raw materials and energy consumption and introducing new alternatives to
improve and develop our quality in addition to cost reduction.

 Modification of the specifications of all products to meet the customer needs and to meet
also the objectives of the company.
 Studying all customers claims and introducing solutions for these claims either in the
customer workshops or by introducing modifications on our production processes to solve
customers problems and to meet customer specifications.
 By implementation the previously –mentioned processes in quality control we reduced the
defected materials by 70-90% and we also reduced the returned products to be less than
1% of the total sales.

Heliopolis company for chemical industries is a leading company in chemical
industries in Egypt for the production of paints,varnishes,formaldhyde,hexamine
electroplating powders and other chemical specialities industries.
Lab and NDT/ radiation protection manager
 Application of Non Destructive Tests (NDT) and ionizing radiation in quality control
especially for chemical and metallic products and welding.
 Supervison on safety,environmental and quality procedures for the welding processes.

 Performing hazard identification and risk assessment in collaboration with American Matin

Marietta for theoperating processes which included the following:

radioisotopes and X-ray for industrial inspection according to non destructive system(NDT).
 I have alicense from the Ministry of Health to deal with the ionizing radiation and all

radioactive sources within the company.

 Head of the laboratory of metrology and the laboratory of Gages calibration and I had

received training courses in the methods of metrology by Martin Mariaeta company,USA.

 I have established also the chemical,physical and also the laboratories of water analysis and

water treatment.
 I have been responsible for the occupational health and industrial hygiene in a working

environment that have considerable concentration of the chemical hazards:

4. Extremely corrosive and explosive chemmcials
