Dear Respondents,
I am a student of Gaynstead High School in the process of completing my final year to graduate.
A requirement to graduate includes finishing all my SBA's that were allotted to me through
diverse subject areas, the SBA's are very critical to my grades for my CSEC examinations. In my
Social Studies SBA I am doing Single Parents and under this social issue my focus or topic is ‘
An investigation into the main causes of Single Parent families and its effect on members of the
household.’ I am kindly requesting your help to take a few minutes out of your schedule to read
through and answer carefully a questionnaire to see your views and opinions on Single Parent
families. I will give you 3 days to chose carefully and honestly on the questionnaire. Also if you
might be concerned that your name will be used in this investigation I am telling you that it isn’t
so don’t be alarmed. I thank you for your decision and time to participate.
