SPECIAL FIRE FIGHTING PROCEDURES : None
SPECIAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT FOR FIREFIGHTERS
Use self-contained breathing apparatus when fighting fires in enclosed areas
UNUSUAL FIRE AND EXPLOSION HAZARDS
None know
.

o
Flash point (method) : 29 C (SETA CC –ASTM D3278
Imco hazard class :-
Flammable Limits (% by vol.) : LEL – 2.0 UEL-12.0
Fire Extinguishing media : Extinguish preferentially with dry chemicals or alcohol type
foam water spray may be ineffective as an extinguishing agent.
Special fire fighting procedures : Use water spray to cool fire exposed surfaces and to protect
personnel.
Unusual fire and explosion Hazards : Respiratory protection required for fighting personnel.
Hazardous product of combustion : Smoke, fumes, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide.

Hazardous combination products.
After evaporation of water burning of residue can produce carbon monoxide,>carbon dioxide, and
oxides of silicon. Carbon monoxide is highly toxic if inhaled: carbon dioxide in sufficient
concentration can act as an asphyxiate. Acute overexposure to the produces of combustion may
result in irritation of the respiratory tract.
