4. Danone waters

Located in white plains, the united states and head-quartered at Paris, this
French water brand was started in 1979, inspired by the name of Daniel, the
founder's son. Shane Grant and V.P Bosetta are the Co. Ceo of Danone.
In the last decade, the company faced an infant formula accusation scandal
that drastically reduced its sales around the globe. Currently, Danone is the
leading packaged water seller in 120 markets including the united states,
Europe, and the middle east. It also owns expensive brands like Evian waters
and Hyatt.
3.Dasani
Total revenue: $76.5 million
Dasani is the subsidiary of Coca-Cola. It has been initiated in 1991. Its head
office is located in Georgia, chaired by James Quincy. In 2009, it launched its
first plant bottle. Back in 2004, 500000 Dasani water bottles were banned of
containing carcinogenic bromate in Great Britain. This incident delayed the
relaunch in Germany and France as well. Later, the Lucrative Dasani group
has introduced lightweight water bottles in the American market through which
30% of the plastic weight is reduced. Dasani has a goal of turning every bottle
recyclable till 2030 to make them more friendly to the environment. It now
competes with big names like Aquafina and Nestle in the international market.

2.Aqua Fina

Aquafina is one of the daughter companies of PepsiCo. Founded in 1994, It’s
current headquarter is present in Purchase, New York under the CEO, Ramon
L Laguarta. The company follows a detailed purification process in which
public water is purified through reverse osmosis and UV sterilization. It does
not include flavors or chemicals compared to its other competitors. Aquafina is
one of the early companies launching its products in the aluminum can
package to reduce plastic usage in the industry. It is the manufacturer of
13.4% local bottled water in the united states. Currently, it has been expanded
to Turkey, Vietnam, Egypt, and South Asian countries.

Originated from Vevey, Switzerland, Nestle guarantees clean water with its
slogan “Pure life, purified water”. This bottled water producer is highly ranked
for its purified techniques and unsweetened water. Its process includes water
distillation, dechlorination, and microfiltration under the chairmanship of U.M
Schneider. In 2020, Nestle became the biggest producer and distributor of
mineralized water in America with a percentage of 44.7%. Nestle waters
shares a gross sales percentage of 29.1% in Europe and Middle East
countries.
