III. ANALYSIS
The process analytical instrument market segment is distinct from other so-called process
instruments that measure parameters such as power, temperature, pressure, level, and flow.
Rather, the categories cover more sophisticated measurements, usually involving the
quantification or identification of chemical components in a process or waste stream. This will
overview some the applications of these components and how they relate.
circular rotate at constant velocity the rotation time may span from minutes to days --
while variable(s) are plotted radially. They require a continuous supply of ink pens and chart
paper. While strip-chart variables are plotted with respect to time, as the paper strip advances
uniformly through the plotter. Strip often comes off a roll for space conservation. Require a
continuous supply of ink cartridges and chart paper.
2. What is a pressure?
Pressure is a measure of the force exerted per unit area on the boundaries of a
substance (or system). It is caused by the collisions of the molecules of the substance with the
boundaries of the system. As molecules hit the walls, they exert forces that try to push the
walls outward.
3. What is temperature?
Temperature is a measure of the average kinetic energy of the atoms or molecules in the
system. The zeroth law of thermodynamics says that no heat is transferred between two objects in
thermal equilibrium; therefore, they are the same temperature.
