Stress Management
Stress, this word is the root-cause of many problems, including, but not limited to,
depression, anxiety, high blood-pressure, cholesterol, heart-related diseases, live
and pancreatic problems, brain aneurysm etc. Stress has been the central topic
among humans to be managed since the beginning of human civilization, religion
and philosophy.

Stress primarily occurs due to both internal and external triggers, such as stressful
situations, stressful interactions, repressed memories, stressful life etc.

Stress due to financial conditions, stress sue to career, stress due to family
problems, stress due to problems in relationships with friends, family or
colleagues, stress due to death of a closed or loved one, stress due to failure in
any area of life, stress due to pressure at work at school, college or office, stress
due t o expectations, stress due to responsibilities stress due to life-threatening
situations, stress due to involvement with illegal and unethical elements of the
society, stress due to an accident, stress due to painful memories or life
experiences, stress due to physical damage to health of oneself or a loved or
closed one, stress due to inability to do something, stress due to scrutiny and
criticism by oneself or others, stress sue to being lazy and non-performing are all
the various triggers which cause stress in a person’s life.

To manage, monitor, and control these triggers, forms the basis and foundation of
stress management.

Effectively managing stress in life includes - monitoring the life situation in which
the said person is currently in, monitoring one’s thoughts and recording them for
future references, identifying the frequencies, magnitude, and quality of the kind
of thoughts and experiences one has in their daily life, cutting down and
eliminating the negative thoughts and situations by curbing on the particular
triggers, by doing things like, meditation, deep breathing, clear and informal
communication with any trusted person, working on avoiding addictive stuff like
electronic gadgets, alcohol, smoking, narcotics etc. which are often used by
people for busting stress, cooking, reading books, newspapers, magazines and
articles, listening to podcasts and music, working out physically, eating a healthy
and nutritious diet, maintaining a daily and fixed routine, leading a disciplined life,
working on inculcating and developing a hobby, detoxifying the body off of
unhealthy food, thoughts and habits, learning new skills, forming a daily schedule
with goals and tasks, not allowing oneself to have free time for procrastination,
developing communication protocols, recording one’s daily experiences in a diary,
and talking with friends and family.

These methods, if used in a properly structured and routinely manner, can not
only relieve a person from their stressful life, but also cure them from their deep-
seated and underlying conditions like depression and anxiety, which stem from
stress itself, and completely transform the person into a new human being, with
sound mind and body, and a happy, useful, peaceful, prosperous, and optimistic
life.
