PROCEDURE

Activity 1- Warm-up

The Teacher greets the class and the Students greet back. The Teacher asks for absentees
and asks them how’s the weather today.

Activity 2- Checking up the homework

The Teacher asks for homework. The students answer. The Teacher asks the Students to
read the homework and the Students read the homework. The Teacher corrects and
explains when necessary.

Activity 3- Introducing the new lesson.


Aim – to present new vocabulary

Procedure – Teacher asks the Ss to open their books at page 52 and look at the pictures.
She plays the recording with pauses for Ss to repeat individually. T checks their
pronunciation and intonation.

Aim – to listen for specific information


T tells the Ss that they will listen a recording related to exercise 2/ 52 and they have to
complete the map legend with words from ex. 1. Ss listen and complete the map and
check with the class.
Ss are asked to listen again and decide if the sentences from exercise 2 – b are right,
wrong or doesn’t say.

Aim – to practice the new vocabulary
T shows a worksheet on the virtual board and solve exercise 1.

Time – 10 minutes

Activity 6- Assigning homework


The teacher gives feedback by congratulating the students and encouraging the less
talkative ones to speak more.
Teacher communicates the Students their homework.
Then the Teacher writes it on the blackboard and tells the Students to write it on their
note books.
