FINAL EXAM PANCASILA SEMESTER 2021

SUBJECT: PANCASILA

Requirements:

3. Answer based on the Pancasila theories, do not give an opinion without basis theory or
data!

Questions:

1. The meaning of "Pancasila is Indonesia's foundation state" is that Pancasila needs to be


considered a guideline of how Indonesia's law should be operated and managed, both written
and unwritten. Under Pancasila's law, all law systems refer simply to Pancasila, started from
the Constitution of The Republic of Indonesia to Local Government Regulation. What are
university students' roles to avoid Pancasila from the domination of regimes or groups that
can refract the true meaning of "Pancasila is Indonesia's foundation state"?
2. Pancasila has universal principles maintaining all people who live in Indonesia under state
protection without being discriminated against by their races, religions, and groups. But,
while time goes by, Pancasila and Indonesian society encounter other ideologies and thoughts
such as extremism and liberalism The problem that emerges as impose on Pancasila by those
-isms above may broadly threaten humanity and Indonesia's local wisdom. Please give your
opinion on the case.
3. Corruption in Indonesia has been rising lately. Unfortunately, many approaching to stop
corruption still led up a blind alley. Generally, there are two ways to stop corruption:
preventive and repressive. A repressive approach is imposing strict sanctions on
perpetrators of corruption. In comparison, the preventive strategy is to prevent corruption.
Explain what you can do as a student in eradicating corruption!
4. The development of technology and science is increasing. The digital era and automation
are now human's friends in doing any activity. However, technology has also shifted its
role from helping human work to replacing the part of humans. For example, the
existence of increasingly sophisticated machines makes big companies no longer need
humans. What do you think about this phenomenon? How does Pancasila work so that
technology and science decrease in human values!
5. In last January, Abu Janda said that Islam is arrogant religion through his Twitter
account. Some people got angry with his statement and asked him to apologise to
Muslims in Indonesia. According to you, do you think Abu Janda's statement violates the
principles in Pancasila? Explain!
6. Mr Prabowo is a good man because he is not corrupt, honest, and humble. Also, he is a
teacher who likes to read texts when teaching. Please provide your analysis in terms of Mr
Prabowo doing a kind action or not? And what genre of ethics does Mr Prabowo's action
include?
