Event Title: Virtual Amazing Race


Assigned Person: John Paolo Quido & Joshua Jamelo

THE VIRTUAL AMAZING RACE IS AN EXCITING FAST PACED REMOTE


ACTIVITY THAT WILL REQUIRE TEAMS TO WORK TOGETHER IN TEAMS OF 4
TO COMPLETE CHALLENGES ALL FROM THE COMFORT OF YOUR HOME.

No. of Participants: All teams must have 10 racers.


General Guidelines:
 Each participant must be a bona fide student of Physical Education in Mindanao State
University – General Santos.
 The game shall take place through zoom.
 Teams will be given the same meeting link and each team will have their own breakout
rooms.
 Each breakout room will have its corresponding station master.
 The station master will be the one who will facilitate series of challenges.
 Each team must complete all challenges in a shortest time possible.
 The team that completes all of the challenges in the shortest amount of time will be
declared the winner of the virtual amazing race.
PRE-GAME (All participants)
Riddle Me Harder
MECHANICS: To start the game and create closeness among the participants, the participants
must first answer a riddle to start their time. However, they will be timed during the pre-game.
The accumulated time of the team shall be added to their final time during the actual games.

GAMES (Breakout Rooms)


GAME 1: Virtual Musical Chairs
MECHANICS: To play, broadcast a song, and have the representatives of each team get up and
dance. Then, periodically shut off the music. Once the music stops, the representative of each
team should rush to sit down. The representative's time for completing the task will be calculated
in accordance to the team's overall time in finishing the virtual amazing race.

GAME 2: Go Find…
MECHANICS: Give the representatives of each team a description of an item- blue, spikey,
round, stringy, etc. Tell them to go find something that matches the description. Make
descriptions harder as you keep going. The representative's time for completing the task will be
calculated in accordance to the team's overall time in finishing the virtual amazing race.

GAME 3: Guess who


MECHANICS: You’ll need to ask all the participants to send, in advance, a picture of them
from when they were a baby. You’ll then want to incorporate the pictures into the PowerPoint so
that during the meeting, you can explain the game to the team and when a baby picture shows up
on the slide, everyone has to guess who it’s a picture of! This can be done by getting team
members to either shout it out or write their answer in the chat. The representative's time for
completing the task will be calculated in accordance to the team's overall time in finishing the
virtual amazing race.

GAME 4: Geo Finder


MECHANICS: The best google finder shall win the game. The participants shall be given a
screenshot aerial photo of a place in Google Maps. They will then guess the name and (closest)
address of the place. They will guess at least 2 or 3 photos for points. The team’s time for
completing the task will be calculated in accordance to the team's overall time in finishing the
virtual amazing race.

GAME 5: Fill in the Blanks


MECHANICS: Each team will be helping each other to complete a statement on Google Sheets.
Following the format below for completing the statement:

BONUS POINTS
MECHANICS: There will be prepared questions that will be sent privately to the participants.
They will be given 10 seconds to answer the question to claim a cut on their total amount of
time.
