Consent Actions
1. (FINANCE) Adopt the Huron County Electronic Data Processing Disaster
Recovery Plan, effective October 1, 2020.
2. (FINANCE) Contract with Alpena Marc LLC for Lease and Construction
Consulting Services.
3. (FINANCE) Authorize Booms Construction, Inc. to remodel the County Clerk’s
office to address security/safety issues at a cost of $42,600, to be taken from the
General Public Improvement Fund 445, line 445-902-932.
4. (FINANCE) Amend the 2020 General Fund 101 Revenue and Expenditure
Budgets for various departments to reflect additional revenues in the amount of
$464,799 and additional expenditures in the amount of $273,224.
5. (FINANCE) Amend the 2020 Revenue and Expenditure Budgets for Funds 215,
249, 254, 256, 261.01, 263.02, 265.01, 269, 292, 293, 297, 588, and 595.
6. (LEGISLATIVE) Approve the applications to allow acreage into P.A. 116 in
four townships as requested by various persons. (Gentner, Swartzendruber,
Geiger, Buerker Trust)
7. (PERSONNEL) Adjust the salary for BOC Executive Assistant (Jodi
Essenmacher) from Grade 160 to a traditional salary in the amount of $64,750,
effective September 22, 2020.
8. (PERSONNEL) Reassign the pay grades for inspectors in the Building & Zoning
office from Grades 140, 150, and 160 to Grades 140m, 150m, and 160m,
effective upon the execution of a Letter of Agreement between AFSCME
General County Unit 1 and the Board of Commissioners.
9. (PERSONNEL) Adopt the Huron County Part Time to Full Time Employment
Policy for non-union employees effective November 1, 2020 and incorporate it in
the Huron County Employee Handbook as Appendix H.
10. (PERSONNEL) Promote Justin Tietz as a full time Corrections Sergeant in the
Sheriff’s Office at Grade 170, Step 9, with a salary of $56,636, effective October
10, 2020.

11. (PERSONNEL) Employ Kayla R. Beaver as a full time Deputy Register of
Probate/Court Recorder in the Probate Court office at Grade 130, Step 1 with a
salary of $32,082, effective October 14, 2020.
12. (PROPERTIES) Authorize the Chairman to sign MDOT Agreement #2020-0918
and Fed. Proj. No. J-26-0006-2820 (Huron Memorial Airport).
