    Here is a reflective journal entry about my experience in the operating room: The operating room was an environment unlike anything I had seen before. As soon as I entered through the double doors, I felt the intensity and focus required in this setting. Everything was brightly lit and meticulously organized. The nurses and doctors were scrubbed in their sterile gowns and masks, preparing their instruments and setting up the mayo stand. I was instructed to scrub in as well to observe the upcoming surgery. Scrubbing took longer than I expected, with thorough washing and brushing of the nails. But I understood the importance of maintaining strict sterility in this environment. Once I had my sterile gown and gloves on, I entered the inner sanctum
