CHAPTER 1: INTRODUCTION

CaBS (Creatives and Business Solutions) was conceptualized in 2020 as an

Information

Technology Consultancy company focusing on mobile application development,

software quality

assurance, designing, and project management. It was the same year when

CaBS Play Store was

launched with the initial beta Android applications; AllAboutMoms PH and

Banketa Seller App.

Mission

Our Mission is to be an essential contributor towards establishing quality

graduates in the

field of Information Technology by providing a free internship program that will

subject the

graduating students to actual working environment, technologies, and processes.

Vision

Our Vision is a future of quality Internship Program that creates quality IT

individuals fully

equipped to start venturing towards their corporate careers.

Roles and Responsibilities

● Maintain good moral conduct in the entire duration of the Internship program

● Participate in all of the activities required to execute necessary tasks and

achieve the goal of the Internship such as:

○ Daily or weekly meetings

○ Software Engineering or Development

○ Software Testing

○ Documentation

○ Walkthrough and presentations

○ Proof-of-Concept (POC) / Research and Development (R&D)

● Diligently submit progress report to the Intern Supervisor

● Actively seek guidance/mentorship from the Intern Supervisor or team

members

● Maintain a good working attitude and relationship to all individuals he/she will

engage to

● Execute a mock defense with the working team to ensure the quality of the

Capstone

Project / Thesis as the end product of the Internship Program

Agile Project Management ( May 3 2021 )

This is my first meeting with Cabs, where I meet other members of the

developing team, and here we discuss about Agile Project Management, we also

talk about what kind of task we are going to do for the next few weeks.

At the end of the meeting I learn how a scrum team or a developing team start

the planning on how they do the project.

Sprint 1 ( May 3 – May 17 2021 )

Here, Cabs give me a task to develop the new features and to improve other

features of ABAKADA application like UI, design, button, and add some new

features, but before that we already have a meeting with other members of the

developing team where there’s a QA, Scrum master, Developer and also me.

My first week in my internship is kind of exciting where I have a good

communication with my other members in developing team especially with QA

who always give me a great idea on how to improve my skills.

And in my second weeks in internship with Cabs the first sprint test happened

where me and the other members of the developing team will discuss about the

new features added to application and to hear their opinion if there’s any problem

or any suggestion.
