A. Soil is formed by the weathering of rocks.The main causes are:

(3) Growing roots of plants.
2. Why do farmers add fertilisers and manures to the soil?
A. Fertilisers and manures give minerals which boost up the plant growth.

3. Differentiate between sandy soil and clayey soil .
