P rocess management involves various tasks like creation, scheduling, termination of processes, and a dead lock1.... It is the job of OS to
manage all the running processes of the system. It handles operations by performing tasks like process scheduling and such as resource
allocation.

In operating systems, memory management is the function responsible for managing the computer's primary memory2. ... It tracks when
memory is freed or unallocated and updates the status. This is distinct from application memory management, which is how a process
manages the memory assigned to it by the operating system.

Device Management is another important function of the operating system. Device management is responsible for managing all the
hardware devices of the computer system. It may also include the management of the storage device as well as the management of all the
input and output devices of the computer system. For device management in operating system: Keep tracks of all devices and the program
which is responsible to perform this is called I/O controller. Monitoring the status of each device such as storage driversi, printers and other
peripheral devices.ii

Follow below steps to create a custom list in MS-Excel:

1. In a column of a worksheet, type the states to sort by .for e.g.

Maharashtra,Assam,Kerala,TamilNadu,Gujarat,Karnataka

2. Select all of the cells in that list, and then click File > Options > Advanced.

3. Scroll way down to the General section and click Edit Custom Lists...

4. In the Custom Lists box, click Import.

5. Then your list of States will be created.
