Is it better to do a job you hate for a high salary or a job you love for a low
salary?

We all dream, but we all have to lose something to gain something when

becoming an adult. Whether to choose a job we hate for a high salary or not

remains controversial. This essay will argue select the dissatisfying job to earn

a high income and more chances to delight in life while obtaining

entertainment to fill leisure time.

First of all, it is worth considering that money is the first factor motivating one

to seek a career. Maybe a good income is not significant, but for several

people, it is crucial since they have a family to take care of or pay for the debts

and the bills. Therefore, regardless of the challenges thrown in their path each

weekday, they cannot survive without money. The critical point here is that if

workers are dissatisfied with their salary at the lower end, they will not save

enough money to cover their monthly obligations, leading to complicating lives

and an already strained connection amongst their family members. As a result,

if a person does not come from a wealthy family, they should work hard to find

a profession that will allow them to support themselves.

In addition, it is indisputable that the wealthiest person in a given place has a

better opportunity of obtaining consumers than other people. For example,

after graduating from university, several people desire to work in the business

they dream of. Still, they cannot do this occupation for some reasons and

chose a dissatisfying one with a top salary. However, while working with the

job they do not want, they feel satisfied with their high wage and reduced

fascination with the dream job. As a result, after a time, they recognise that the

job they choose just a temporary thing.

Another advantage of doing a dissatisfying occupation is that it makes

employees obtain more challenges and motives. Some experts believe that

they will be better able to face the repercussions of their acts if they do this

and acquire a more profound sense of personal responsibility. The truth is that

work is essentially not quite the same as a hobby. Even if we end up doing

what we like, there would be moments when we are stressed and frustrated or

burned out. Those who work with their dream job tend to have happier

personalities, but they may be subjected to large quantities of stress.

Conversely, it will make them even more driven to overcome any obstacles

they confront. They will endure and strive harder to get through their

boundaries and achieve even better outcomes.

In conclusion, doing a dissatisfying job in personal life may be confronted with

many challenges, achieve personal limits, and ensure perseverance to obtain

profit from working on a repetitive activity to pay a consonant income. For these

reasons, people should consider getting high wages instead of following their

dream job.
