BUYING
GUIDE
www.beAmusician.inwom HINGS TO KNOW BEFORE BUYING A VIOLIN
Check the quality of wood.
Better the quality, Better will be the
sound.
Make sure there are no cracks on
the body of your violin.
Check, the finger board is smooth
without any bumps,
so fingers can slide easily while
playing.
Pegs should be good quality. Not
too tight or loose,
so they can hold strings well in
place while playing and tuning.
The bow should be archedby default,
when viewed from side.
And straight, when viewed from
frog end.
