Anti-homomorphism in fuzzy subgroup of Guendy

Awiten
By: Rjyll Bacus

September 22, 2020, Mam Guendy Awiten presented her paper of

interest. She presented everything like any other research presenter

does.

First was the Introduction where she gave credit to some

researchers who works on the paper. Giving basic definition and

examples that makes the paper she presented more understandable.

She did used her talent as a teacher because I was really paying

attention of her presentation.

She presented only the “skeletal” part of her report and she gave only

the definition and some results in the paper of interest. Defintion such
as Let X be a non-empty Universal set. A fuzzy subset 𝐴 of 𝑋 is a

function 𝐴: 𝑋 → [0,1], with the example Let 𝑋 = {𝑎, 𝑏, 𝑐, 𝑑} and

𝜇𝐴 : 𝑋 → [0, 1] be a function defined by 𝜇𝐴 (𝑎) = 0.1, 𝜇𝐴 (𝑏) =

1, 𝜇𝐴 (𝑐) = 0.5, 𝜇𝐴 (𝑑) = 0 Then

𝐴 = {(𝑎, 0.1), (𝑏, 1), (𝑐, 0.5), (𝑑, 0)} is fuzzy subset of 𝑋. Another

example, Let 𝑋 = {𝑎, 𝑏, 𝑐, 𝑑} and 𝜇𝐴 : 𝑋 → [0, 1] be a function

defined by 𝜇𝐴 (𝑎) = 0.1, 𝜇𝐴 (𝑏) = 1, 𝜇𝐴 (𝑐) = 0.5, 𝜇𝐴 (𝑑) = 0 Then

𝐴 = {(𝑎, 0.1), (𝑏, 1), (𝑐, 0.5), (𝑑, 0)} is fuzzy subset of 𝑋. She gave

another example Let G be a group. A fuzzy subset A of G is said to be a

fuzzy subgroup of G if it is satisfying the following axioms: (𝑖) 𝐴(𝑥, 𝑦) ≥

𝑚𝑖𝑛 { 𝐴(𝑥), 𝐴(𝑦) }; (𝑖𝑖) A(𝑥 −1 ) ≥ 𝐴(𝑥) for all 𝑥, 𝑦 𝜖 𝐺.

Only more than 45 minutes passed on her presentation, but

despite of having a short period of time I still learned a lot of new terms

from her, because her research topic was something new compared to

the previous presenters. The new terms that I have learned from the

definitions and theorems are a fuzzy subset, fuzzy subgroup, fuzzy level

subset, fuzzy normal, group homomorphism, group anti-

homomorphism, preimage, anti automorphism, fuzzy characteristic

subgroup, fuzzy abelian subgroup. By the given theorems, she also

discussed that the if let f : G → G be an anti-homomorphism, If μ is a

fuzzy sub group of G . Then is an fuzzy subgroup of G. If we let f : G → G

be an anti-homomorphism. If μ is a fuzzy group G , Then f -1(μ ) a fuzzy

normal subgroup of G. If we let f : G → G be a map, Let μ be a fuzzy

subgroup of G. Let f be a surjective anti homomorphism, Then f(μ) is a

normal subgroup of G. A fuzzy characteristic sub group of a fuzzy group

is a normal fuzzy sub group. Anti-homomorphism pre image of a fuzzy

abelian subgroup is a fuzzy abelian subgroup. Anti homomorphism

image of a fuzzy abelian subgroup is a fuzzy abelian subgroup. And an

anti homomorphism image of cyclic fuzzy subgroup is a cyclic fuzzy

subgroup.Just like any presenter, she still presented her paper

immaculately.

Mam Guendy presentation gives me an idea to my presentation in

the near future. Present only that your classmates won’t ask too many

question.
