DIEP Strategy for writing a reflection journal,attempt to:

1.analyze your own performance as a learner


2.evaluate your gains in understanding and completing tasks
3.verbalize how you feel about the learning
4.make corrections with other experiences and ideas
5.demonstrate transfer of learning
6.integrate the concepts taught/presented in the course.

Follow this writing strategy for reflective journal entries in four(4) pharagraphs as to:
D---Describe objectively what were presented.Choose something that you learned.Give the details of
what happened in your own experiences by answering this question: “what did I do,read,see,hear?”
I----Interpret the events.Explain your learning,new insights,corrections with other learning,your feelings,
hypotheses,conclusions.Be guided by this question:”What was the reason I did this activity? What might
it mean?
E---Evaluate what you learned.Make judgements connected to the observations you have made,answer
this question:”How is this useful?”
P---Plan how this learning will be applied.
