Guerilla Warfare

Afghan Guerrilla Warfare is a study of the operation and actions against the Afghan Mujahideen
against the Soviet forces in Afghanistan 1979-89. It is narrated in the words of Mujahideen
himself and provides a surprising and clear text of what the Coalition forces can expect if they
are involved in the world war in Afghanistan. Afghan Guerrilla Warfare is an invaluable guide
for anyone wishing to understand today's guerrilla warfare, which provides important details on
how terrorists are trained and supported in the field - effectively demonstrating what is needed to
run a guerrilla / rebel campaign successfully.

Well the one way in which the Mujahidein leadership represents guerilla warfare, according to
Mao is that of the revolutionary idea based on the masses itself does not mean that the
organization of terrorist units is not possible in a war of attrition against the revolution. As the
tactic used by Mujahideen was extreme weaponry and force, therefore according to Mao,
organized forces, those forces that have acquired that position, and those who have not reached
that level of development come together to build the military strength of the national revolution.
No doubt the final outcome of this will be a victory.
