Many happy returns

MAKING PLANS: GLOW region fairs aim to be back this summer
By MATT SURTEL, BEN BEAGLE
and KATE LISA
news@batavianews.com
PIKE — It all comes down to
state guidelines.
The details hadn’t been
finalized as of late May, but
county fairs in the GLOW re-
gion continue to plan for their
return this summer. Exactly
how they look — and what
they’ll offer — will largely
depend on rules they’re still
awaiting from Albany.
But as for now, they aim to
be back.
County fairs in Genesee,
Livingston, Orleans and Wy-
oming counties have an-
nounced plans to conduct
fairs this summer.
The Hemlock “Little
World’s” Fair has announced
plans to present a fair July 20 to
24 “in one format or another”
and in a Facebook post indi-
cated that they have gotten a
strong response from vendors.

Boys of summer are back

MUCKDOGS: New incarnation of Batavia team takes the field as part of collegiate baseball summer league

The Batavia Muckdogs will

The new Muckdogs will

against the Elmira Pioneers.
The Muckdogs played their
