Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to you with regards to the position within your company for Audit Intern for 4th year students
at Audit & Assurance Department. I have known about KPMG since the first year at university and I really
want to develop and shape my career in that professional environment. Through the KPMG’s fanpage on
Facebook, I have known that KPMG Vietnam's Internship Program 2021 began to start. I believe that my
preparation in knowledge, experiences and skills will make me an appropriate candidate for this position.

I am a 4th year student majoring in Accounting and Auditing at Foreign Trade University in Ho Chi Minh
City. During three years, I have got strong foundation knowledge of Accounting and Auditing, such as
Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Taxation, Auditing Principles,… My GPA is 3.14/4 and I
also received the certification “Student with Five Good Merits” in class level in 2018. In addition, I have
also enhanced my knowledge through studying ACCA Paper F3 (Financial Accounting), F7 (Financial
Reporting) and F8 (Audit & Assurance) so that I am confident with my knowledge in accounting and able
to read professional English documents as well as control my timetable under high pressure. Hence, I
became an ACCA student and passed the ACCA Paper F7 already. In short-term, I expect to work as an
Audit Intern and accumulate more and more valuable experience and skills for my job. Furthermore, I
hope to finish ACCA qualification within 3 years and pursue auditing career in long-term.

Besides, I also spent time taking part in many social activities and having a full time job as a Audit
Assistant in a local auditing firm. At school, I attended in the biggest event of my university – FTU’S DAY
2019 as an member of External Relationship team in Organizers. This position helps me learn how to
make a deal with a professional firm, so that I could improve my soft skills such as negotiation,
communication, teamwork and time management. Relating to computers skills, I can use either Microsoft
Word and Excel well, I also qualified the certification of Microsoft Specialized in Excel (MOS). With those
skills, I am ready to enter and contribute my youth and my ability to your company.
