CHAPTER I

PROJECT SUMMARY

A. NAME OF FIRM

The business establishment shall be called DDM Seoul Avenue K- Food; this is taken

from the heaven above the sky over the rainbow the sun goes down the sun goes down.

B. LOCATION

Our product will be available in our food stall located at Purok 5 Poblacion

Monkayo Davao De Oro. The food stall will be catering Dine-in and Take-out orders.

Also, we will be having an online site so that customer can order online and we will

deliver our product.

C. PROJECTS POTENTIAL AND PROPONENT

The proprietor is an NCII holder of Hotel and Restaurant Management and an

expert in handling food stall. There is no need for the stall to employ or hire marketing

sales force because the proponent himself will be the one to do the job. Hiring of many

employees at this stage is quite expensive since the business is just starting and will

definitely be inflexible to changes in marketing condition. All it needs at this stage will

be a good marketing strategy and meeting consumers’ satisfaction in the market.

D. PROJECT’S LONG RANGE OBJECTIVES

The proponent aims to expand the project in another potential location after the return of

investment.
E. HIGHLGHTS OF THE PROJECT

1. History of the project

Korean food was known to Filipinos because of the influence of K-Pop, Korean

Drama and movies over the year which contributed to the demand of these dishes in

the country. The research conducted through online survey and data gathered in some

study Korean delicacies is in demand in the Philippines. This is the main reason why

the proponent came up with this project.

2. Project Time Table and Status

The project will take about 2 months to be completed and goes into operation.

Starting from the operation of the feasibility study until the purchase of equipments

and other necessity needed.

3. Nature of industry

This project aligned in the food industry particularly fast food retailing. The

proprietor is currently operating a food stall that serves Filipino dishes and he plans to

add Korean cuisines to his menu through online and phone call orders. Order through

online and phone calls will be delivered by a rider and delivery fees will be

depending on the customers location.Mode of Financing


4. Investment Cost

To start the project, the proponent will need Php 61,000 pesos. This amount will

be used to rent a small stall to put up the business. This will be used to buy the

necessity needed for the dishes to be served.

F. Major Assumptions and Summary of Findings and Conclusion

1. Market Feasibility

Knowing that Korean delicacies are the trend in most teenagers nowadays, demand is

not an issue to the business. With the high percentage of teenagers who want to try

Korean dishes in the municipality Demand and Supply is high given the survey

conducted during the study particularly the target of this business are teenagers and adults

who loved to watch Korean drama and movies.

2. Technical Feasibility

With the projects favourable location, quality of production at lower cost and

lower cost in necessities needed the proposed business would be technically feasible.

3. Analysis of Environmental Condition

All facilities that are needed in the production such as Labour, Transportation and

availability of resources needed with the help of local farmers in the municipality.

4. Financial Feasibility
The establishment of this kind of business in the municipality of Monkayo would

be financially feasible considering the overall profitability and liquidity of the project.

5. Management Feasibility

The management structure is designed to meet the efficient operation of the

project. As to salary scale, there is compatibility in terms of industry standard. The

project management selected the appropriate form of business organization with the

internal structure geared toward attaining management objectives. The business will be

managed by Ms. Darlyn J. Cagang; she is currently a student in Marketing Management.

6. Socio-Economic Feasibility

The project has very positive effect to the society and the economy as a whole in

as much as it contributes in generating employment and community development through

the taxes to be paid to the government.
