4.

Given the scenario that has developed in this transaction and the position
TLP is facing, which of the following options would you choose, and
why?
 I would accept the offer from KSM (Korean Soft Goods Manufacturing)
to reduce the price. There were so many discrepancies found in the
documents and the TLP (seller) also delayed in shipment. So, the KSM
insisted TLP to accept their discrepancies and made the condition to
reduce the price of USD 20,000 before they authorise the payment. The
goods were quickly approaching to final destination at Korea and the
buyer was worried to withhold the payment before TLP agreed to
reduce or negotiate in the price. Owing to number of discrepancies
found in contract and 3 month late shipment than their agreement, they
has to accept the offer. If, they refuse the offer than they could face big
problems and could cost TLP a lot than reducing the price of sales.
Refusal to offer could also result in the goods being held for while in
Korea and returned to TLP if another buyer could not be found and that
could cost TLP more than the condition KSM offering to them.
