CHAPTER WEBSITE ADMINISTRATOR AGREEMENT

Because The IIA is not responsible for and does not control the accuracy, timeliness, and security of Chapter Websites, it is the
responsibility of the Chapter leader(s) to ensure both the safety of e-commerce transactions and the privacy of members-only
documents on its Website. This form must be completed by the Chapter Web Administrator regardless of whether or not an IIA-hosted
site is being used.

Chapter Web Site Administrator

As the IIA member designated to manage the Website content for your Chapter you may have access to member data under certain
terms and conditions.

Please review the terms below and return the completed statement to the IIA Chapter Relations department. (You may complete the
form electronically if you send the form from your email address.) Once the completed form is received, you will be coded to have
access to edit your Chapter’s Website.

By signing the form, the Chapter Website Administrator agrees to the following:

1. The IIA’s Privacy Policy and Privacy Guidelines for Chapters are understood and will be followed.

2. The Chapter Membership Directory (containing Chapter member contact information), if posted to the Chapter Website, will be
placed within the Members Only section of the Chapter Website. Placing members’ contact information in a public area of a
Chapter site is not permitted and is in violation of The IIA’s Privacy Policy.

3. The Chapter Website Administrator’s login information will not be shared with any other IIA member or non-member. Doing so
presents a security risk to the Chapter.

4. IIA Headquarters is not responsible for the security of a Chapter’s Website. Therefore, Chapters should carefully review any third-
party systems to make sure they are safe and secure. Guidance on the security of your Website can be found in the Chapter
Leader Manual (under Credit Card Processing / Data Security).

Note: If you would like guidance on selecting a third-party vendor for event registration or e-commerce functionalities, please e-mail
online@theiia.org. They will send you The IIA’s Vendor Management Policy, which IIA Headquarters uses to select and manage
vendors.
