A reputable pharmaceutical company is searching for a young, innovative IT support Officer to

join their team of professionals to deliver quality healthcare services.

Job Title: IT Support Officer

Job Description
Major Responsibilities:
• Install, configure, and support an organizations local area network (LAN), wide area
network (WAN), and Internet systems or a segment of a network system.
• Monitor network to ensure network availability to all system users and perform
necessary maintenance to support network availability.
• Monitor and test Website performance to ensure Websites operate correctly and
without interruption.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, or other network and system
problems, and replace defective components when necessary.
• Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments
including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all
configurations.
• Analyze equipment performance records to determine the need for repair or
replacement.
• Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures to protect data, software,
and hardware.
• Train people in computer system use.
• Coordinate with vendors and with company personnel to facilitate purchases.
• Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations.
• Implement and provide technical support for voice services and equipment, such as
private branch exchange, voice mail system, and telecom system.

Other Duties as assigned by supervisor to build an efficient and effective work environment.

Qualification:

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Engineering/Science with practical working experience.


• Excellent communication skills and good interpersonal relations.
• Ability to keep records and write simple and basic reports of activities will be an
advantage.
• Ability to work long hours with minimum supervision.
• Language; Fluency in English (mandatory) and any other Ghanaian language(s). Ability to
speak and write in French will be an advantage.
