Tao Kae Noi - The Reviews

In this storey, there is a character named Top Aitthiphat Kulapopngvanich who has
struggled to establish himself as a young entrepreneur. He dropped out of school at the
age of 16 due to his inability to make up on his studies due to his excessive use of
online games. He became an arm dealer and earned additional money by selling his
online game guns to his online gamers. He discovered how to monetize his interests.
His online account was soon closed for whatever reason, as it was prohibited to do so
on the internet. He used his savings to start a new business selling DVD players. Later,
he discovered that all of the DVD players were counterfeit, and that his savings had
been stolen by the others.
Top went through a difficult period before being inspired by his ex-lover. He noticed the
possibilities once his girlfriend gave him a piece of seaweed. He sells seaweed in a
local grocery, and while the business is doing well, it will not generate a lot of profit.
He intended to build his own factory but was unable to obtain a bank loan of ten million
baht because he was still 19 years old. His girlfriend dumped him because he was too
preoccupied with his work and ignored her. He re-created dried-fried-seaweed, which is
sold in most 7-Eleven. convenience stores in Thailand.
His application to sell his product at 7-Eleven was initially denied due to the packaging
design, the product's size being too large for 7-Eleven shelves, and the retail price being
too expensive at 80 baht.As a result, he redesigns his packaging to be more practical in
terms of size and sale price.
After that, his product was eventually recognised, but he had to meet one more
condition: his plant had to pass GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice). He was able to
open his factory with labours in a short period of time after paying a deposit of one
million baht.
He passed the GMP and formed a successful relationship with 7-Eleven to
commercialise his fried seaweed products under the brand name "TAO KAE NOI."
He borrowed 400 million baht from the bank to expand his factory. Ship his seaweed to
6,000 7-Eleven locations worldwide, with exports to 27 nations. In South Korea, Top
had established a seaweed farm. In 2010, Top was 26 years old and had a sales
income of 1,500 million baht.
