2. What will happen to my Profile data in 20B if we have yet to upgrade to ETP?
Profile data stored in the former schema is not lost, but you will not be able to use:
· Responsive Skills and Qualifications, and Talent Ratings
· Responsive Goal Management Target Outcomes
· Responsive Career Development Target Outcomes and Explore Roles
· Oracle Learning Cloud Target Outcomes and Pre-requisites
· Oracle Recruiting Cloud
· Responsive Global HR Manage Workforce tasks
It is important to note that eventually, you will need to reimplement your talent content
definition requirements using the enhanced administration interfaces and develop and use
custom processes for migrating your user data to the enhanced architecture.

5. We’re only using seeded content types, do we still need to upgrade in 20A?
You must run the mandatory upgrade processes in order to switch to ETP due to pre-existed customer
setup and setup data. See slides#12-18 of this presentation Quick-upgrade for your easy reference.
The perception of 20B being defaulted to responsive Talent Profile is incorrect.
6. The whitepaper mandates that non-talent data must be moved to other places before 20B.
For data that falls outside of the talent data definition, it can remain for any period of time the customer
requires until they have decided where to move it. It is not an immediate requirement to move the data.
9. How do I find out what field types eg. Text240_1 etc is associated to which field in the new template?
When customers migrate to ETP, use the Person Profile Content Template Mapping Worksheet to determine
the mapping between source and target custom Content Sections and Attributes.

11. Major of Education template is a free text field. Can we change it to Lookup type?
Fix in 20B via bug 30953827.
13. Will the currently configured PVOs, configured Lookups, default values/settings be migrated?
Yes. Customer Setup Data will remain usable after the upgrade.
14. The Profile Upgrade Mapping task requires Person Profile Mapping.
Are Model Profiles included? Is there a template to map Job Profiles to?

17. Can you share sample HDL.dat files for loading Model Profiles job description/extra information?
Review the HCM Data Loader Desktop Integrator (HDLdi) tool, which can generate sample dat files for
you, see Doc ID 2056538.1 for details. Documentation Guidelines for Loading Talent Profile Data will be
updated to reflect the ETP specifications.
18. We have inbound and outbound interfaces with the talent tables. Do we need to adjust for ETP?
Profile Item records will be moved based on the upgrade mappings you define which means there is
potential for changes in how your inbound and outbound interfaces continue to work. Ensure that the
upgrade mappings are reflected in your interfaces.
20. How do I find out what fields are dropped such as Last Update, From Date...etc?
No fields were dropped. Note: system fields not for user inserting data are hidden in the template.
23. We use different content sections to store internal and external certifications. Can we still keep them
separate?
Yes. When you map to the Certification template, the upgrade process will add a new Content Section
from that template.
24. We use different names for copies of the Certification template, and want the "Add License" label to
match our custom content section name. Can we do that?
Yes, see 19B Office Hours slide#43 Q#6 for worked example.

25. Changing the label names using Page Composer and Expression Language is not easy, taking pSectionId
and locale.language into account.

27. An ORC candidate who entered Degrees and Licences later got hired. Is the enhanced Talent Profile a
single source of truth?

28. In the Pending Worker page, how do we relabel the attributes of the Talent Profile?
Fix in 20A: composer changes on Skills & Qualifications will filter through to Person Management >
Search: Pending Worker > Action: Talent Profile.
29. Can we run the upgrade process in many iterations eg. 20 content types to be run twice and 10 each time?
You may utilize the Include in Upgrade, Roll back, P2T/T2T options.
30. We have a planning problem - a lot of our environments won’t get P2T scheduled until a later date.
You may test the upgrade processes as many times as needed in one or two stage instances thereafter
upgrade production; other project environments can then be refreshed via P2T or T2T.
