Community Health Nursing Clinical Case Equivalency

Wound Dressing
Instructions: Consider yourself as a community heath nurse working in the rural area of
Marigondon Lapu-Lapu City.
Case: You are having your regular home visit in the community. Upon the visit, you have
noticed a child with abrasions on the left arm with a dripping blood on it.

Task I. Clearly elaborate the process in performing Wound Dressing. Provide a rationale per
procedure.
