Subject: Constitution of Technical Committee to review/finalize the route of downstream
220 kV lines from Kadarpur (Gurgaon), Sohna Road (Gurgaon) and Prithla
(Palwal) 400/220 KV GIS substations by HVPNL.

A meeting was held in CEA on 12.09.18 to review the progress of Kadarpur (Gurgaon),
Sohna Road (Gurgaon) & Prithla (Palwal) 400/220 KV GIS substations awarded through TBCB
route. During the meeting HVPNL had raised concerns regarding difficulty in finalization of
route of downstream 220 kV lines (inside and outside substation) emerging from Kadarpur
(Gurgaon), Sohna Road (Gurgaon) and Prithla (Palwal) 400/220 KV GIS substations of M/s
Gurgaon Palwal Transmission Limited ( Sterlite Power) due to route of 400 kV lines terminating
at these 400 kV Substation and requested CEA to constitute a committee to review the route of
transmission lines terminating at these 400 kV substation for optimum utilisation of line corridor.

As decided in the meeting, a committee of following member from CEA/HVPNL/GPTL

is constituted to review/finalize the route of 220 kV downstream lines at Kadarpur (Gurgaon),
Sohna Road (Gurgaon) and Prithla (Palwal) 400/220 KV GIS substations, the members of
committee would be as under;

1. Shri Y. K. Swarnkar, Director, PSETD, CEA

2. Shri Ajitesh Kumar, Deputy Director, PSPM, CEA
3. Shri Vipin Gupta, S.E. (NCR Planning), HVPNL/ Shri Anil Yadav, S. E. (TS Gurgaon),
HVPNL [for Sohna road and kadarpur S/s] / Shri Gulshan Nagpal, S. E. (TS Faridabad),
HVPNL [ for Prithla S/s]
4. Shri TAN Reddy, Vice President, SPTL
The committee would submit its report/recommendations within 15 days.
