Mind Uploading Technique

Mind uploading technique is a process by which the cognitive process of biological brain
is transferred into artificial brain. Indeed, the idea of transformation biological brain
into artificial brain has been introduced to save or imitate the cognitive functions. Due
to this process, the memories can be saved for thousands years. Actually, scientists want
to transform the self or identity into a computer however it becomes more complicated
debate to interpret the phenomenon. A person lives his live and then wants to save his
compete life events for next thousands years, then he will upload his brain into a
computer. During this process, his parts of brain would be transformed into computer.
Actually, the computers which use in our daily life, are running by specific operating
system. However their functions will also be run according to set of instructions. The
computers do not contain any type of emotional elements by which they can be used to
run any emotional process. But the scientists are working to transform an emotional
part of brain into an artificial intelligence system. In twentieth century, the scientists
made a robot which worked according to instructions that were programmed into a
chip. The robot did not contain any emotional chip. So the robot didn't perform any
emotional work.

It is considered that the technique of mind uploading is used to preserve our identity for
long time. It also can called as life extension technology in which we preserve the
backup file of our mind. However, the backup file or mind file will be helpful in future.
When we talk about culture, time, space or any event, we use such mind files to check
out the old cultures and times. We also can find out the way to celebrating the events.
This artificial intelligence will also be helpful to detecting the emotional problems of
another person. This technique will also be helpful to diagnose the me mentally
abnormal person.

If we talk about father of psychoanalysis, Sigmund Freud, who tells, we are born with
blank memory while our self tells us about right and wrong. We don't bring any
information or instructions with us. We seek all the conscious or unconscious behavior
from the life events which we face in our daily life. We also seek the right and wrong
beliefs from the daily life.

After Sigmund Freud, Karl Jung also presented his idea about psychoanalysis. Karl Jung
was the student of Sigmund Freud. Karl told that our mind contains our ancestor's
unconscious motivations and biological memory. Then a child doesn't born with blank
slate but it this looks like a computer which contains some basic functions and also
capability to store new things. Actually the Self is centre of our psyche which contains
conscious and unconscious mind. However, we will be changed by dark side such as
personality or consciously but our Self will not be changed. It will be same as it was at
it's initial stage. Many changes will be occurred during different life events but our Self
will be same, it will not be changed or affected by any process. Actually our Self is our
potential by which our psyche parts of body are connected.
When we find out our Self in physical brain, then neuroscience tells us about our
identity which is speeded into various parts of brain. Indeed these parts perform their
specific functions.

Immorality or Backup:
When we talk about mankind, we know man will be died one day. So his brain will also
become dead. But by the process of mind uploading, the backup file of mind cannot be
died. We can save this mind file for thousands years. However we call it as immortal
feature. Many cultural events are saved in the mind which are also transferred into
computer, will also be saved for long time. Furthermore, the information can also be
transformed or copied into a other digital storage.

Invention of Mind Uploading Technique

Rothblatt presented the idea of mind-clones a computerized adaptations of people that

can live until the end of time. She portrayed how the psyche clones are made from a
mind-file such an online storehouse of our characters, which she contended people as of
now have (as Facebook, for instance). This mind-file would be run on "mindware," a

Mind uploading process can be proceeded by copy and paste or copy and delete.
Actually the scientists transferred some information into computer. Sometimes, the
information can be destroyed during the process of transformation. Another process
which is used in mind uploading is scanning or mapping the specific information of a
biological brain then storing or copying into computer system.
The hippocampus part performs the function to save the autobiographical features of a
man. If we want to upload our self or identity, then we would have to do something so
that we can read information from that above parts and recreate into computer. We
know that the information are stored in synaptic connections which exist in centre of
neuron. Actually our brain contains 86 billion nerve cells known as neurons. Each
neurons are connected to each other by specific connecters axons and dendrites. One
neuron makes thousand connections also known as synaptic connections which are
found in trillions. These connections are copied by the scientists and pasted into the
computational device.
Problems preventing the Mind Uploading:
 Indeed the information does not exist in physical states. It exists in form of effects
and can’t be transferred from biological brain to a computer. Sometimes we feel an
effect from outside and then respond according to that effect. The emotions can’t be
transferred into a machine.
 The computer is totally a different object which does not contain any molecule,
electrons or particles. It also does not respond any stimulus such as hot or cold
effect. It is composed by artificial things which don’t possess any emotional object.
Computer is controlled by CPU, which runs on the electricity. However the human
body is totally different from the computer. The computer also contains processor
that also controls the working of CPU but it’s a chip that contains set of instructions.
 Our brain is much complex thing that contains billions of neurons and also trillions
of synaptic connections. These connections can’t be created by the computer
machine and any computational device can’t save the whole data of human mind.
 It also contains some ethical issues which can’t be solved such as the conscious
behavior can’t be transferred into any computational machine.

Solution
 The neurons are found in billions and the synaptic connections are also in trillions
so there should be specific devices that would be use to connect the neurons as they
are connected in biological brain.
