Introduction to Software house
Software companies are part of the broader computer industry and provide products in one of four
categories: programming services, system services, open source, and software as a service (SaaS).
Software companies generate revenue from software licenses, maintenance services, subscription fees,
support services, and more. By using cloud technology, a fast-growing area, customers now easily pay
a regular subscription fee to immediately access software through the Internet on a provider’s server.
Software companies are also some of the world’s top developers of enterprise solutions.

Introduction to software company in Pakistan

A software house is a company that primarily provides software products. These companies may
specialize in business or consumer software (either out-of-the-box or single-license software) or
software-as-a-service (SaaS) products. The common definition is that the company is mainly invested
in developing and distributing software products.

How software house work

The goals and objectives of a software house vary, depending on the client base and a structure for a
software release. Some houses specialize in contractor jobs that are commissioned for specific
corporate clients. Others create public out-of-the-box software to be sold on store shelves. Each
specific approach requires its own design process, set of professional rules, and distribution strategy,
taking into account, for example, time zones, user system requirements, and much more.

Chapter 4: Practical work done in specific department

Working as a team
Let’s take football as an example; a team cannot win if the individual performances are good but
teamwork is poor. Similarly, a business cannot achieve its goals and targets if the teamwork is
missing. My internship experiences made me realize the importance of teamwork. I had to
coordinate with the graphics team, content team, and managers before posting on social media to
gain followers and increase engagement rates for the business. The social media posts where
everybody was on the same page resulted in better results compared to those where teamwork was
not up to mark. Hence, the experience taught me the importance of teamwork and its impact on
department and companies’ success

12
Ethically work
In the internship, I learned about working in the field of accounting. when many transactions are
pending and Mr. Shahid is on leave how to tackle that stress level with a cold mind. Some time
in office work some accidental mistakes occurred on how to tackle that situation. I learned that
in any situation person never loses his control otherwise it's too late. while working with many
groups I learned team ethics. how to corporate with them and how to get work by them.
I learned working ethics in stress, normal, and teamwork

Responsibility
Being responsible is an integral skill required in the job arena. my internship experience makes
me more responsible and accountable for what decisions I make and how you execute what’s
been allocated to you.

Communication Skills
It’s one of the top listed skills that recruiters look for in a resume and something that can get you
from bottom to top. Communicating well is a gem of a skill which I can learn during Turnkey
Business International internship experiences.

Time Management
It is the most important skill that I learned from the internship. During an internship which is
almost the beginning of my professional work life, I can’t mark my absence on a regular basis.

Hence, it helps me to learn to manage my time better by maintaining a balance between my work
and personal life, without harming any of them.

Problem Solving technique

What real-life problems that I have solved till now other than to decide what to wear the next day
and how to dodge the upcoming assignment deadline? An internship introduces myself to real-
life work problems and hence develops my problem-solving skills

In many difficult problems that I have faced during the Internship is to tackle the problem in team
working within a specified time-efficient and effective. The good thing is that my teammate is
agreed with me and my boss is not disappointed me in an internship.

Expertise
Of course, the primary thing that I learned from my internships was the expertise or skills required
to complete tasks in the field. As I decided to go for Master in Commerce, my internships provided
me with skills and expertise to run M.com for a business. During the brainstorming sessions of
those internships where every department of the company was present, I understood the idea of
aligning brand story, mission, and vision of business with every social media post or campaign
that you run for business. My internship experienced developed skills and expertise that are
required for Accounting and Marketing.
