1. Aphasiology can be defined as the scientific study of language disorders resulting

from damage.

2. From the knowledge I got from the articles, is stated that Wernick's aphasia is
characterized by fluent but largely speech and difficult comprehending spoken and
written input, whilst Broca's aphasia is characterized by halting, effortful speech that is
meaningful but that is largely devoiced of grammatical structure.

3. The characteristics of Conduction aphasia are the following:

Firstly, is characterized by an intact ability to understand spoken and written language,

and secondly, is characterized by the intact ability to produce fluent, grammatical
speech, but a marked inability to repeat the verbatim form of phrases and sentences.
