Treatment
On a small glove shop past closing time, a boxing glove un-pins itself from the wall. Shaking himself
off to wake up, he then looks around the store to where he spots a silk glove on the other side of the
shop on a different shelf. Instantly the boxing glove is attracted to the silk glove and begins to neaten
himself up and puffs up his padded muscles to try to attract the lady glove. The silk glove notices the
boxing glove but doesn’t show any interest. Confident in his athletic physique and abilities he is
determined to attract ‘her’ attention. Pumped up and poised to perform he begins to flex his
muscles like a body builder. The silk glove still unimpressed, he begins to do one handed push-ups,
the boxing glove does a couple in a breeze but begins to wobble and sweat. Regaining strength he
turns it into a one handed hand stand push-ups.
Gaining slight interest from the silk glove, the gloves confidence sores as he visualises himself in a
boxing ring with a roaring crowd and flashing lights, the glove starts throwing punches into the air in
front of him aggressively. The silk glove appears on the outer edge of the boxing ring with full
attention on the boxing glove. The boxing glove takes a few steps back to the edge of the ring and
sinks into the barrier like a sling shot. He launches himself straight towards the silk glove. Hurtling
towards her he comes back to reality with a smack as he hits a sheet of glass that has been encasing
him in the shop. As the glove slides down the glass to the ground, the silk glove goes back to minding
her own business.

Step Outline

A Boxing glove wakes up and looks round the room to see a silk glove on the other side of the shop.
The boxing glove wants to impress the silk glove and begins to show off his muscles and athletic skills
by doing hand stands and push ups. Till now the silk glove has not been interested but as she looks
over the boxing glove becomes more confident imagining himself inside a boxing ring. He starts
punching the air then launches himself out of the ring off of the barrier to reach the silk glove, only
to hit a sheet of glass that has been encasing him in the shop. The silk glove goes back to minding its
own business.

Premise

Over confidence sometimes leads to a smack back to reality.

Logline

A boxing glove in a glove shop trying to impress a silk glove by showing off, but over confidence
becomes his down fall.

Character Biographies

The Conceited Boxing Glove

Bigheaded and pumped up to the brim with masculinity this boxing glove has the physique of a body
builder. Confident that he is the sexiest and most masculine glove in the shop, he is sure to win over
any of the lady gloves. However when showing off to impress he tends to become too self indulged.

Silk Glove

An elegant and feminine glove that likes to play hard to get.
