5. Scale Adjustment
When you perform a trace printing (dot printing) position adjustment only, refer to “5-2. Zero and Span Adjustment for
Trace Printing”.

5-1. Scale Check

The check is performed on a channel to channel basis. Even if all channels use the same measuring range, an error in
measured value may occur between channels.

The rated accuracy varies between digital display and

Digital display: Temperature input ······· ±0.2% analog indication.
DC voltage input ········ ±0.1% Use a tester with the accuracy equal to or higher than the
Analog indication: ±0.5% of scale range specified rated accuracy.

1. Preparation
(1) Turn OFF the power switch and perform the wiring depending on the input signal (see figure below).
Connect to the input terminal of the check target channel.
(2) Attach the terminal cover.
(3) Turn ON the power switch and change to [Continuous indication mode]. For details of [Continuous indication
mode], refer to “9. Continuous Indication Mode” in instruction manual “General”.
(4) Display the check target channel.
(5) Energize the unit for at least 30 minutes (an hour or more is ideal) and then perform checking.

and accuracy.

- 12 -
2. How to check
(1) Set a tester (standard DC voltage generator or precision variable resistor) to an input value equivalent to the
check target value.
(2) At this time, read the digital display and check if the error is within the specified accuracy range.
(3) Next, change to the check target channel and check it likewise.
(4) Check also the analog indication/dot printing position.

* The accuracy of the unit is rated at an ambient temperature of 23°C ±2°C. Ensure safety of the surrounding
environment.
* When you changed the wiring with the terminal cover removed, energize the unit for at least 30 minutes
after attaching the terminal cover and then perform checking.
