Those previous design either requires a large area for their array
feeds or they propose to use a second single layer to suppression
the crosstalk level. Due to the lack of an antenna array concept,
which provides two highly decoupled polarizations with a low
SLL for both channels, high compactness, beamforming agility,
and low fabrication complexity, we present a method of
improved the cross-polarization level by adjusting the
impedance of the main transmission line for mmWave series
antenna.
2. Proposed Approach
In this paper, we propose a dual-polarized planar antenna 34
array based on orthogonally fed microstrip patches. The single
elements are rotated by 45°, resulting in a symmetric shape of
the antenna array. Two microstrip line quarter transformers are
directly attached to the feed point of the radiating elements. The
microstrip patches and their characteristic transformer lines are Fig. 1. Cross-pol level comparison with three different

channels is highly dependent on the patch corner to feed line

fundamental mode of the orthogonal polarization on the patch
elements. As a result, crosstalk is increased and degrades the
polarization properties of the antenna array. On the other hand, A
variation of the microstrip line width changes the line
impedance
of the transmission line. From those point of view, we
investigate the effect of using different impedance of main feed
line: 75, 100 and compare with the 50 feed line to the
cross-pol level. As shown in Fig. 1., the cross-pol level of the
series array is improved 5dB when using the higher impedance
transmission line corresponding the smaller width.
