 Prepare a board indicating all preferred materials you will

use in interiors of a Restaurant .
INTERNAL MATERIAL

PARTICLE BOARD-

• USE: partitions inside the cabinets , I will be using it in drawers with integrated metal
sheets where bottom is particle board.

• LOCATION: Storage room/serving counter.

• PROPERTIES: It is less expensive than plywood and MDF ,homogenous surface ,

easier for veneering.
[ It has less strength so I am not using it in load
bearing capacity]

• RATE: 22rs/sq.ft onwards

• SIZES AVAILABLE: 8x4,6x4.
FIBERBOARD (MDF)-

• PROPERTIES: It has smooth, even surface, easily machined , veneered and painted.

• USE: Cabinet construction, framework , shelving ,drawers ,decorative partitions ,

decorative panels in ceilings.

• LOCATION : Storage room ,dining area.

• RATE:75rs/sq.ft
• SIZES AVILABLE: 81X36, 81X33, 81X30, 78X33, 78X30, 80X33, 75X27, 78X27, Customized
size is available.

PLYWOOD-

• PROPERTIES: Much stronger material , durable .

• USE: Sofas , tables , chairs ,also I am going to use BWR type for doors, outdoor
furniture(garden tables, chairs) , Flexible plywood for round tables ,antique furniture .

• LOCATION: Dining area , Outdoor sitting .

• RATE:30rs/sq.ft-175rs/sq.ft
• SIZES: 8X4, 8X3, 7X3, 7X4, 6X3, 6X4.
CEMENT BOARDS-

• PROPERTIES: Resistance to moisture, fire ,fungus

• USE : tile backing board , Ceilings ,stucco .

• RATE:2.6rs / mm.
• STANDARD SIZE: 4X8 feet.

METAL SHEETS-

• USE: Stainless steel countertops & storage in kitchen,

woven sheets

• LOCATION: Kitchen , woven sheets in breakout areas.

• PROPERTIES: Fire resistant, flexibility in forming

shapes , smooth surface, bears scratch , easy to clean,
is not a field for insects.
