On the new knowledge that I just learned on this webinar, I had an in-depth knowledge about

what was really happened during the time of Rizal, since there’s a lot of fake news that were spread by

the Spaniards. In view of the fact that a lot of Filipinos were illiterate during the Spaniards Colonization,

they easily believe on what the Spaniard says, with the printing press. They made us believed that the

Filipinos were barbarians therefore we need them to made us civilized. They want us believed that we

can’t do anything without them and we really need them. This kind of topic is undoubtedly relevant

specially this day of technological advancement where every news, doesn’t matter if it is true or not, can

be spread out easily due to the social media and different form of information technology.

On the challenges that our heroes faced, indeed I felt the love and bravery of our heroes not only

Rizal but also Laurel and Recto and other people who support and help Rizal to lit up the mind and hope

of every Filipinos to fight for the right and freedom for our country. According to Van S. Ybiernas a

historian, both of them ran to be a president but neither of them won.

This kind of webinar should always be done to lit up the mind of the new generation to give them

the insights
