HDFC Standard Life Insurance is pleased to offer an extensive 6-8 Weeks Summer
Internship for students.

HDFC SLIC is currently offering two training modes – Summer internship for 4 -6 weeks
and Industry Integrated on – the – job – training for 6 months in the field of HR /
Finance / Sales & Marketing, depending on the candidates specialization in relevant
subject and interest.

The idea of such a training program is to allow the students to penetrate into the
professional world even while they are studying. Students will undergo Training across
the verticals to have an exposure of company as a whole.

Students will work under the guidance of their project coordinator along with the branch
trainer.

Students would be associated with the Company only as trainee and under no
circumstances they would be treated as an employee of the Company. Hence, students
would not be entitled to any benefits payable to employees on the roles of the Company.

Please note that on completion of the training period the Company reserves the right
either to abrogate or to extend the training period based on business requirements.

Students would get stipend on meeting the minimum requirements and Students
engagement as Project Trainee can be terminated by giving 15 days notice and without
assigning any reasons for such termination.

Annexure 1

Students will be exposed to the functioning of all the verticals of the company but
will be mainly associated with Retail & Channel Development.

Project will be on ‘Recruitment & Activization of Financial Consultant’

All students will undergo 2 days of classroom training to under the processes of
the company and the project.

The other aspect of training is Product Knowledge, Financial Portfolio

Management and understanding financial market from the view of Sales &
Marketing

Student’s trainee profile will get upgraded to team handling profile based on the
performance of the first month. (Meeting minimum criteria in terms of number &
quality)

Remuneration:

1.) MBA students will be paid Rs 1750/- per Recruitment (License)& Active
Financial Consultant

2.) BBA student will be paid Rs1300/- per Recruitment (License) & Active
Financial Consultant.

This payout is as per the current structure, which may change in new Financial
year, formal communication will be sent regarding the same.

HDFC LIFE reserve the right to change the terms & conditions of the summer
training.
