Symptom

One of the below symtpoms can happen when working with routines in a Transformation:

 Global declaration is not saved or not displayed after activation.

 Rule (target: &1 group: &2): Syntax error in routine
 The field "SOURCE_FIELDS" is unknown, but there is a field with the similar name
"SOURCE_FIELDS_RULE".
 "MONITOR_REC" was already declared.
 Formulas does not work as expected.

Environment

 SAP BW/4HANA SP08 or higher

Reproducing the Issue

Save, activate or transport a transformation.

Resolution

Follow the instructions of the consulting note below, and apply all notes which are marked as
"Note to be implemented" in the attached XML:

 2603241 Overview and summary of the most important SAP Notes in the context of BW
transformations with SAP HANA and ABAP execution

Once the notes have been implemented, reactivate the affected transformations and DTP-s.
