It winked at me three times, It winked at me three times,
It blinked and made four lines, It blinked and made four lines,
Then it began it began to cry! Then it began it began to cry!
“If you keep me, dear friend, “If you keep me, dear friend,
Then it will be my end, Then it will be my end,
Because I am not a star, I’m just a cute Because I am not a star, I’m just a cute
firefly firefly
Flying on threes nearby,” Flying on threes nearby,”
I didn’t wish to see it die, I didn’t wish to see it die,
That shining little fly. That shining little fly.
So I blew it to the sky. So I blew it to the sky.
And as it flew on high, And as it flew on high,
