RE: LCCI January 2021 Examination Series Myanmar

The Myanmar government announced in August the closure of all schools due to the spike in
Covid-19 cases, and consequently the British Council Myanmar suspended their operations. As
the Covid-19 pandemic continues, it is not possible for the British Council Myanmar to resume
operations and be able to run exams safely. As a result of this, they have taken the difficult
decision to cancel the LCCI January 2021 examination series.

Candidate entries for January 2021 will automatically be transferred by Pearson to the next
available series at no cost to your centre. We understand students maybe concerned about the
new fee increases that come into effect in January 2021, and how this will affect their
qualification fees. Please be assured that all candidate entries made in 2020 that are being
transferred to 2021 will be honoured at the current 2020 price list, therefore there will be no
fee increases for these candidates.

Please see the table on the next page, indicating the next available opportunity for your
candidates to sit the examination(s).
