Role model

To the editor,
I’m writing to put forward my proposal for online magazine about role model for
young people. I would like to suggest to invite American actress and singer Amandla
Stenberg to give the speech.
Amandla Stenberg had been in Time’s list of most influential teens in both 2015 and
2016. She is the best known for her work in feature films, which include The Hunger Of
Games, Everything Everything , and The Hate You Give. she has been on tv from a
young age. Stenberg identifies as a intersectional feminist. She is outspoken about her
political views in the interview and on social media.
There are several reasons why she is role model and what she can talk about: She is
not afraid to speak her mind; even if it means facing backlash and criticism. She uses
social media as a tool for social justice and awareness. She is an advocate for
encouraging girls to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering and math.
Despite balancing numerous projects, Amandla is focused on pursuing her education.
Despite being so young, Stenberg uses her stardom and influence to teach the masses
about important topics such as cultural appropriation, black culture, feminism and
more. I’m convinced that Amandla’s advices would be valuable and inspiring to the
young people. I would be grateful if you would consider my suggestion.
