The General Electric High Mast luminaire is available e;ther open or enclosed wilh symmetrical or
asymetrical optical assembly. The symmelrical opt:cal is designed for general interchange and park"
ing lot area lighting while asymmetrical optical is used for improved lighting of straight sections ol
roadways. The open units are self-ventilated and the enclosed units are charcoal.iiltered for maximum
efficiency over the life of the luminaire. Both open and enciosed Iuminaires feature reflectors with
ALGLAS" -f,nish for long life!

Luminaire wilL be a General Electric Type X209 High Masl, Cat.
No. {specifyl. The lumina re will consisl of a cast aluminum ballast
and slipfltter mounting plate, a hydrofo.med aluminum ballast 6.5',
cover, a spun and faceted aluminum reflector assembly, and when
requjred, a tempered glass door.
All ballast components will be accessible from the top wiih the
lumina re mounted and aimed The sliplitter will be capable of
adjustment in two directions independenlly, side to side and iront
to back. The slipfitter will be suitable for 2 horizontal
pipe tenon mounting and will be adjustable a 30 for leveling.
A dog po:nt set screw with drill bushing will be included to prevent
twistlng of the luminaire on the bracket.
The ballast will be electrically connected to the optlcal assem-
bly by a pre-wired quick disconnect plug A pre-wired terminal
board shail be provided requiring only connection of the power
supply leads.

The reflector wllt be spun from aluminum sheet, faceted to re-
direct reflected light away from the iamp arc tube, and iinished it
with the ALGLAST, process. The reflector assembly wiil be {open
bottom and ventiialed) or (enclosed and charcoal-filiered).
