• Provided expertise in SONET Transport Network Architecture and led the packet-aware multi-service
access network study.
• Directed the local optical network evolution team and implemented the first local DWDM system for
fiber relief.
• Evaluated and directed the use of 23 GHz-microwave radio for use in last mile applications to minimize
the use of Type 3 circuits.
• Managed the merger and reorganization activities due to the TCG-AT&T merger in 1998.
