Design Description

The inspiration behind my design is that i’m using the concept of “color-
blocking” style. Color-blocking is an exploration of taking colors that are opposites on
the color wheel and pairing them together to make an interesting color combination.
The reason why I choose color-blocking because I want to represent fashion as playful
as it could be. The three designs that I made has a different look from each other that
inspired by different kind of characteristics in fashion that people have but still unique.
The first design was inspired by casual-feminine look with stacked sleeves and pants
with a touch of fringe details. The second design was inspired by sporty look with
color-blocking biker jacket and high waisted pants. The last one is the artistic look by
the asymmetrical cut combined with the black and white stripe pattern for the top. I
also added more details to my design such as fringe, belt, and a little accessories to
complete the look.

I want to inform people that fashion is all about how we express ourself through
what we wear everyday and I described it through colors that I choose in my design. I
want people to feel more confident and just be brave with pairing their clothes and just
play with every fashion items they have because fashion has no boundary. No matter
what their skin color is or maybe their shapes, fashion will always help to solve their
anxiety and it will even make them as the center of attention. I hope my design inspires
people to build up their mood in fashion and communicate through fashion. Fashion is
limitless.
