CONTINUITY TEST FORM (PRE AND POST ENERGIZATION)

1 General Information
a) Area: 2ND FLOOR COMMON AREA d) Brand : SANWA
b) Equipment No. : e) Model/Serial No. : 18010400149
c) Type/ Rating : THHN

2 Test Instruments
a) Multi-meter or Digital test meter b) Calibration Date: MARCH 22, 2021

3 Testing Procedure
a) After the cable and wire pulling for the electrical system:
a.1) Using the multi-meter instrument, set the tester to the ohm setting. By touching the test leads or test probes together,
the tester should indicate a Zero Ohm reading. For a digital test meter, it will likely show 0.00 ohm reading.
b) Before building energization, repeat step a.1) and record result in Pre-enerization Column (B).
b.1) For lighting system with installed fixtures, test continuity for Line-Neutral, Line-Ground and Neutral-Ground.
b.2) For Circuit breaker, test continuity for loadside of the source and line side of the equipment controller.

CONTINUITY TEST FORM (PRE AND POST ENERGIZATION)

c) After building energization:

a.1) Using Voltage Test Pen or Test Light (contact and non contact type), check the presence of electricity or stray voltage within any
conductive / metal materials.
a.2) A test pen/light is simpler and often suffices for checking for the presence of voltage on a conductor. Properly designed test lights
include features to protect the user from accidental electric shock. Non-contact test lights can detect voltage on insulated conductors.
a.3) Ensure that no voltage reading at the locations indicated below. In case there is electricity present at location where it's not supposed to be,
turn off the power supply and rectify the deficiencies immediately.
